Listed below is a summary of residential crime occurrences in North Taranaki for the week 10th – 16th February 2017:

 
New Plymouth Central
Devon St East
Date & Time: Between 10/02/17 16:30 and 11/02/17 10:00
Wilful Damage – Two vehicles parked on roadside had tyres slashed.
 
Spotswood
Cnr Manadon St & South Rd (outside Countdown Supermarket)
Date & Time: Between 15/02/17 15:30 and 16/02/17 17:00
Theft – A boat was stolen – 1980’s Seacraft Sierra, fibreglass boat with white hull and mustard yellow top. No sign written name on boat. Fitted with 2006 Mercury 90 horsepower 2-strike motor coloured black and Honda 8 horsepower auxiliary outboard motor coloured white and blue.

Date & Time: Between 13/02/17 17:00 and 14/02/17 10:50
Unlawful Take – Vehicle fully locked outside address; vehicle entered via rear passenger side quarter-light window, Bluetooth speaker taken.
 
Clawton St
Date & Time: 12/02/17 between 09:00 and 18:00
Theft – Baby stroller taken from outside front door.
 
Tavistock St
Date & Time: Between 11/02/17 20:30 and 12/02/17 14:30
Burglary – Items taken from backyard – 2 scooters (Disney & Barbie), Disney ornaments (Frozen, Princesses and Snowman), “Little Tikes” yellow car, ride-on motorbike.
 
Marfell
Cook St
Date & Time: Between 13/02/17 13:00 and 15/02/17 13:50
Burglary – It appears offender/s entered house through slightly open window, TV and X-Box taken.
 
Waitara
Short St
Date & Time: Between 12/02/17 20:00 and 13/02/17 07:30
Unlawful Take – Vehicle stolen from front lawn outside address, rear quarter-light smashed. Vehicle later recovered after being abandoned.
 
Vogeltown
Camden St
Date & Time: Between 11/02/17 16:00 and 12/02/17 11:30
Theft Ex-Car – Car left locked outside house, driver’s door left open, car battery taken from car.
 
Bell Block
Camellia Ave
Date & Time: 11/02/17 between 01:15 and 01:55
Unlawful Take – Vehicle left unlocked with keys in ignition up driveway. Offender/s have started car and driven it down driveway but then left, items taken from inside vehicle – wallet & various cards, key to vehicle, rego stickers.
 
Gardenia Ave
Date & Time: Between 10/02/17 10:30 and 14/02/17 20:00
Burglary – Vehicle parked on the roadside has had back right window smashed and offender/s have searched glovebox and compartments. Panasonic stereo faceplate taken.
