Ewatch is the web site of North Taranaki Neighbourhood Support.
The aim of this web site is to keep you informed as to what is happening in our community today.
The sharing of information between Police and the Community is vital to the success of a safer community. You may be able to help – check out our Can You ID, Stolen Property and Wanted Persons tabs to see if you are able to assist police
We also offer helpful advice, information and alert you to current crime trends and scams. Click on Community Info tab and check out Ewatch, which is a brief description of the previous week’s burglaries, theft ex car and wilful damage from across New Plymouth, specifying time, date and area the crime was committed in.
If you wish to join Neighbourhood Support please go to the membership tab and select join. Fill in your details and submit. Once the office has received these a field officer will then contact you to link you into a group.
Don’t forget – if you are changing address, email or cell phone numbers, then please use the member ship tab and select the update details tab to ensure that the office holds up to date details at all times.
A membership advantage is the Key Holders area. If you are a current member and are going away for a week or longer, you can enter this area and safely through a secure server enter details of a key holder for your property whilst you are away. Only police will have access to this information, should they need to contact your key holder in your absence.
