Bell Block Burglaries

There have been a spate of burglaries in Bell Block. Police and Neighbourhood Support are urging all Bell Block residents to be vigilant and on the lookout for any suspicious behaviour. Do not hesitate to call 111 if you see anything suspicious, day or night.

Hine St
Date & Time: Between 03.09.17 16:00 and 04.09.17 07:30
Wilful Damage – Graffiti of windows on a house under construction.
 
Victoria Rd
Date & Time: Between 03.09.17 16:30 and 04.09.17 07:00
Burglary – Tools stolen from house – 3x lithium chargeable batteries, 2x Makita drills, 1x Makita radio, and rechargeable spotlight.
 
Brixton
Raleigh St
Date & Time: Between 05.09.17 12:00 and 06.09.17 10:00
Burglary – Rock thrown through window to gain entry and unsuccessful attempt made to take TV.
 
Urenui
Takiroa St
Date & Time: Between 01.09.17 22:30 and 02.09.17 09:00
Burglary – Set of keys and garage door opener taken from table in kitchen. Unsure how the property was entered.
 
Blagdon
Clearmont Cres
Date & Time: Between 02.09.17 19:00 and 03.09.17 06:00
Burglary – Boat outboard motor stolen from back of boat inside property – Mariner 15 HP Outboard Motor, grey.
 
Inglewood
Durham Rd Upper
Date & Time: 06.09.17 between 13:00 and 16:00
Burglary – House entered through bedroom window which had been on a security catch. Offender/s have searched bedrooms and several items stolen from throughout the house – Panasonic TV, HP laptop, Bluetooth speaker, freezer draw with food.
 
Mahoe St
Date & Time: Between 01.09.17 16:00 and 04.09.17 12:00
Burglary – Tools stolen from unlocked garden shed – backpack sprayer, extendable window washer rod, spade & fork, large spade.
 
Fitzroy
Record St
Date & Time: 07.07.17 between 08:30 and 14:05
Unlawful Take – Car taken from grass verge outside address.
 
Bell Block
Sunnyvale St
Date & Time: 07.07.17 between 13:00 and 15:00
Burglary – Offender/s have gained entry through windows and have stolen several items of jewellery and have unplugged TV’s (may have been disturbed). They have left out ranch slider.
 
Pohutukawa Place
Date & Time: 07.07.17 between 12:00 and 17:00
Burglary – Offender/s have used a knife to open garage window and have taken the latch off by unscrewing it. No items taken from the garage (may have been disturbed).
 
Penrod Drive
Date & Time: 05.07.17 at 15:00
Burglary – Offender/s have used an axe to smash a glass pane in the front door to gain entry. Offender/s searched drawers in bedrooms and cabinets in the lounge and the freezer. Only item taken was a Toshiba taptop.
 
Glamis Ave
Date & Time: 05.07.17 between 09:30 and 17:20
Burglary – Offender/s smashed windows to gain access to house and have messily searched house. Missing is a HP laptop light silver, Samsung galaxy tablet S10.5, jewellery.
 
Hua St
Date & Time: Between 03.07.17 22:00 and 04.09.17 13:00
Theft Ex-Car – Sub-woofer stolen from vehicle parked in yard.
